This collection makes me wish for snow and loads of money. I want the money, to buy the whole collection. The snow, so it is cold enough to wear the collection. I love the quilted capes and sleeves, the dark wintery colours and the contrasting paneling. So if any body is reading this can I please have some money and some snow : )

Assembled Line A/W 2011 2012

This is my first project since I started back in college. I choose the theme Mechanics and based the collection on industrial buildings. I thought it was a good source for inspiration, it provided good shape and line. Linear detailing like metal zips, piping, vertical seams and quilting were a big feature in this collection.

Triadic Ballet 1921

I recently had to write an essay on the Bauhaus, after learning about the school I soon fell in love with everything it stood for and shortly visited the Bauhaus museum in Berlin (heaven). The Triadic Ballet started in 1921. The costumes are very simplistic using mainly primary colours, stripes and polka dots.
